Re: Dice Rolls
Step one, describe the actions that you are taking in a reply box.
Step two, press preview and scroll down. You can choose the d10 from a drop down box (right now, that's the only choice). And select the number of dice you want to do and press the tiny plus sign to the right. This will make another roll appear. Leave it blank unless needed. Then press send.
Right now I'll perform a roll.

Re: Dice Rolls
As you can see the roll above was a success. For each roll, you can select multiple dice. You can do multiple rolls too by pressing the Plus sign again after setting up the first roll. This way, if you have an attack, like multiple strike or two handed weapon, you can roll each separate attack.
Modifiers such as bonuses and penalties add dice to the dice pool or take them away. However, in some instances, willpower modifiers affect the roll of the dice already in the pool, not their number.
Let me demonstrate a multiple roll.
Say I've got four bad guys and I need to roll to see the their turn order for a battle (initiative).
Hypothetically speaking, they have a 4d10 roll each.

Re: Dice Rolls
The first bad guy has no successes.
The second has two, but since one is 10, he gets one more roll under the 10 Again rule.
The third and fourth each have one and they're both tens.
So

Re: Dice Rolls
Now I want you guys to do some test rolls just to be sure you've got it. Feel free to ask me questions or for screen shots, too.
Also, if you're viewing this in mobile, you won't be able to do dice rolls when replying under the mobile format, you'll have to use the regular version.

Re: Dice Rolls
8 and above is a success. Five successes is an exceptional success and garners an extremely favorable result. If your dice pool is reduced to 1 or less, you can take a chance roll. On a chance roll, you have to make a 10 or you fail. On a chance roll, if you roll a 1 it results in a dramatic failure. I'm sure you you can imagine what happens there, everything from the hilarious to the deadly, or misinformation, happens on a dramatic failure.

Re: Dice Rolls
Oh! Also! In combat, the number of successes you have equals the amount of damage you do to your opponent. And that is sub divided into Bashing, Lethal, and Aggravated.

Re: Dice Rolls
You have to type your post, hit preview and you'll find the dice controls under where you see the send button. Does that help?
